"The Lord bless you
and keep you;
the Lord make his face shine on you
and be gracious to you;
the Lord turn his face toward you
and give you peace."

Numbers 6:24-26

You are invited to light a candle for yourself or for loved ones during this pandemic, while we are sheltered in place and, thus, unable to light a candle during this most Holy time in our Greek Orthodox faith.

Upon entering an Orthodox church, it is customary to light candles and offer prayers for one’s personal needs or that of a family member or friend. When lighting a candle in Church the faithful usually make a small offering to the Church. When we light a candle, it helps us remember that Jesus is the light of the world.

Each morning one of our clergy will light the candles for those that request it in your name or for any loved ones that you specify below.
