As the Western Regional Manager at Common Sense Media, Jamie Nunez supports state education agencies, school leaders, and parents across the western region of the U.S. in their efforts to address digital literacy skills. For over 20 years, Jamie has redefined tech use in schools by incorporating students' digital lives in the classroom. As a former high school teacher, vice-principal, and after-school director, Jamie has trained thousands of educators and parents on how to support student learning in digital spaces. When not working, Jamie can be found in the ocean teaching his 7-year-old how to swim.
